Pernyataan Sikap Cipayung Plus Menyambut PEMILU 2019 (HMI, PMII, GMNI, PMKRI, GMKI, IMM, KMHDI, HIKMAHBUDHI)

Sebagai negara demokrasi, Indonesia wajib menyelenggarakan pemilihan umum (disingkat pemilu) dengan cirinya yang langsung, umum, bebas, rahasia, jujur, dan adil. Pemilu menjadi sarana terwujudnya kedaulatan rakyat, dimana setiap warga negara memiliki hak untuk menentukan wakil dan pemimpin mereka untuk menjalankan pemerintahan. Dengan kata lain, pemilu menjadi pilar penting bagi terwujudnya demokrasi sebagai proses politik dari rakyat, oleh rakyat, dan untuk rakyat. Sebagai pilar utama demokrasi, pemilihan umum perlu terselenggarakan dengan baik. Hal ini dapat diwujudkan melalui sikap dan tindakan kegotong-royongan setiap elemen, baik masyakarat maupun penyelenggara. Pemilu akan menjadi sebuah pilar demokrasi yang baik, jika mampu mewujudkan transformasi sosial-politik di masyarakat. Tanggal 17 April mendatang, Indonesia akan menyambut pesta demokrasi paling akbar dalam kurun waktu 20 tahun terakhir, karena pemilihan legislatif dan pemilihan presiden yang dilangsungkan secara serentak. Keberhasilan pemilu tahun ini bergantung kepada sikap dan tindakan gotong royong semua pihak untuk menjadikan pemilu tahun ini sebagai pemilu yang jujur, damai, dan sejuk sebagai upaya bersama mewujudkan transformasi sosial-politik di Indonesia. Demi terwujudnya transformasi sosial-politik di Indonesia melalui pemilu pada 17 April besok, Cipayung Plus yang terdiri dari HMI, PMII, GMNI, PMKRI, GMKI, IMM, KMHDI, dan HIKMAHBUDHI; merupakan bagian dari masyarakat Indonesia perlu menyampaikan seruan moral dan pernyataan sikap sebagai berikut:

  1. Mendesak Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) dari tingkat pusat hingga daerah agar
    bertindak netral dalam pelaksanaan pemilu pada 17 April mendatang. Sebagai
    penyelenggara pemilu, netralitas menjadi nilai mutlak yang harus dipegang teguh oleh
    KPU;
  2. Mendesak Badan Pengawas Pemilu (Bawaslu) dari tingkat pusat hingga daerah agar
    melaksanakan tugas pemantauan dengan menjunjung tinggi netralitas dan integritas
    sebagai penyelenggara pemilu;
  3. Mengajak seluruh elemen masyarakat yang memiliki hak suara agar ikut memberikan
    hak suaranya dalam pemilu 17 april mendatang. Legitimasi demokrasi di Indonesia akan
    kuat jika tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemilu tinggi;
  4. Mengajak seluruh elemen masayarakat untuk mendukung kinerja TNI dan Polri dalam
    mengamankan proses pemilihan umum agar berlangsung dengan aman dan damai;
    dan
  5. Menginstruksikan semua kader Cipayung Plus untuk membuka posko Pemilu di
    sekretariat di tingkat daerah dan wajib mengkawal proses pemungutan dan
    penghitungan suara TPS masing-masing. Hal ini sangat penting sebagai sumbangsih
    semua kader Cipayung Plus dalam mewujudkan pemilu yang jujur dan transparan.

Demikian seruan moral dan pernyataan sikap Aliansi Cipayung Plus dalam menyambut pesta demokrasi yang diselenggarakan pada 17 April 2019.
